Title: The Dangers of Being On the Ceiling

Summary: Turns out, Demyx isn’t too fond of being on the ceiling. So much for Xigbar’s plans.
A/N: As much as I love me some ceiling!sex, I can’t help but think of something like this happening instead.

“Oh hell, I think I’m going to puke.”
They were in one of the largest rooms in the castle, all white and clean and empty space. It hadn’t looked that big while they were on the floor, and now —
Xigbar laughed, holding Demyx’s shoulders to keep him steady. “Come on now, it’s not that bad.”
“I beg to differ. My whole digestive system is going to fall right up my throat,” Demyx replied tensely, attempting to not move an inch.
“Nonsense. First off, that is not entirely true, as your throat is part of your digestive system and can therefore not fall up itself,” Xigbar pointed out matter-of-factly.
“I wasn’t being technical, all right! Stop with the whole I-used-to-be-a-scientist spiel. I was merely expressing how utterly not good this whole situation is.”
Leering, Xigbar leaned closer, pressing a rough kiss to the back of Demyx’s neck. “What situation?”
Demyx’s eyes widened at the slight movement. “If you drop me, so help me, I will drown you in your sleep.”
“Relax, kid,” Xigbar drawled, apparently amused and not in the least bit worried. “I ain’t gonna drop you. Don’t you trust me?”
“Xigbar, you’re the one who always tells me not to trust anyone,” Demyx answered, rolling his eyes.
The Freeshooter let out another harsh laugh. “Hey, watch that tongue. I’m the only thing keeping you standing up here,” he retorted, giving Demyx’s shoulders a squeeze.
“You wouldn’t dare let go,” Demyx said fiercely, but there was the slightest hint of uncertainty in his voice that Xigbar just savored.
“Wanna try me?”
Demyx hesitated, titling his head up as he glanced at the floor. It was a long, long way down. “Um, no.”
“Besides, you’re the one that asked me to take you up here,” Xigbar added, sliding a gloved hand along the younger Nobody’s shoulder and into his shaggy mess of a hairstyle, smirking at the sharp intake of breath from his anxious companion. “Don’t complain.”
“Stop moving your hands,” Demyx demanded.
“Why? Afraid I might let go?” Xigbar’s smirk widened, and he stepped closer to Demyx’s stiff body, wrapping his other arm around the Melodious Nocturne’s chest in a sort of awkward hug. “Better?”
“I still feel like I have to puke.”
Xigbar groaned, burying his head into Demyx’s shoulder. “You really know how to turn a guy on,” the dark-haired man complained.
Scowling, Demyx shot back, “Yeah, well, being upside down on a ceiling doesn’t do much to help the mood. Can we go down now? I’ve had my fill of sight-seeing.”
“Aw, what? Not even one quick little fuck — ?”
“Drowned in your sleep, Xigbar!”
“Okay, okay, sheesh! So much for being optimistic.”
