Marly month must not be a very lucky month for me! >.< Our computer froze up or something yesterday, and by the time my dad fixed it, my brother had commandeered the thing until nearly midnight. Argh.

Title: Gentlemen
Rating: G
Warnings: Unless you don’t know who Lexaeus and Marluxia are, I’d say you’re safe.
Disclaimer: Kingdom Hearts is, most obviously, owned by big name companies and not by a girl sitting at a laptop on her bedroom floor.
Summary: In which Marluxia strikes up a conversation, and Lexaeus remains vague.
A/N: Arghlefarghly. I wish I could actually write Lexaeus properly. Pardon the uselessness of this drabble. I blame the prompt word. O.o
Out of all the members of Organization XIII stationed in Castle Oblivion, Lexaeus had to be the one that Marluxia talked to the least. Lexaeus was not one to strike up a meaningless conversation, and Marluxia was not about to make idle chat with a man who would rather be doing something else.
On those rare occasions that they did converse, Marluxia swore that they had to be the most polite conversations anyone had ever heard between two Nobodies of Organization XIII, save perhaps a conversation between Zexion and Lexaeus.
This was one of those rare, awkward occasions.
Silence was the main opener of this conversation. Marluxia cleared his throat slowly, as if planning out a course of action in his head.
“Lexaeus.” He nodded in greeting. “How are things going down in the basements?”
Lexaeus regarded the master of Castle Oblivion quietly before answering. “Well.”
“Do you not trust me to even tell me how you and the others are doing?” Marluxia asked with feigned concern.
Lexaeus wasn’t fooled for even a second. “There is merely nothing of importance to inform you of, Marluxia,” he explained.
“Well, keep up the good work, then,” the other Nobody replied. “No problems is always a good sign.”
“Indeed.”
Marluxia continued to stare at Lexaeus carefully. What did the older Nobody really want to say to him? It was infuriating. Why didn’t he ever get mad or contradict anything he said? Even Vexen got fed up sometimes.
“You’ll inform me if anything major happens below, won’t you.” It wasn’t a question. Lexaeus could see the callousness in Marluxia’s eyes.
“I shall try, Marluxia.”
Ooh, he was going to break Number V’s calm exterior one day, he was. “I’m glad to hear it.”
“If you say so.”
