[Kingdom Hearts] Ace of Diamonds [10/9]
(10/9)
Title: Ace of Diamonds
Rating: PG
Warnings: Um....not feeling very creative today.
Disclaimer: Kingdom Hearts is, most obviously, owned by big name companies and not by a girl sitting at a laptop on her bedroom floor.
Summary: In which Demyx wants Luxord to listen to a new song.
A/N: I never want to see the freaking word ‘diamond’ ever again. Nor any similes or imagery related to diamonds. And I need to stop portraying Demyx as a dumb innocent little kid. *kicks laptop* And I need to stop being so randomly weird!
A diamond is a wonderful thing. It can come in a number of colors, a number of shapes, and number of sizes. Diamonds are ever-changing. Yet there are some things about diamonds that never change. A diamond is pure, incorruptible, easy to understand.
Demyx was the ace of diamonds, Luxord swore. You couldn’t find anymore more suited to the thing than him. One could probably reflect light onto him and it’d come out in rays of color. It was just the way he spoke when he was excited, the way he’d try his hardest and still be cheery when he’d fail, the way he was constantly smiling.
An unhappy Demyx was a peculiar sight indeed. Even an unhappy Luxord, as laid-back as he normally was, was more plausible.
“Hey Luxy! Do you wanna hear the new song I composed yesterday?” Demyx bobbed around beside Luxord’s shoulder, perky expression agitating to the already slightly unsettled gambler.
“Not really,” Luxord answered, without looking over at the other Nobody. “Especially if it’s anything like the song you were playing two days ago.”
“No, that’s an old one! This one’s new, it goes something like this....” Demyx began to hum the tune he had created, rather loudly and out of tune. Luxord hurriedly clapped a hand over the Melodious Nocturne’s mouth, afraid that mere saying ‘be quiet’ would have no effect on him.
“That’s wonderful, Demyx, but I really don’t need to hear it,” he said quietly, before letting out a sharp exclamation and pulling his hand back quickly. “You just tried to bite me!”
Demyx glared at the older man. “You interrupted my song,” he stated stubbornly. Luxord proceeded to wipe his the spit on his hand off on his Organization cloak, shaking his head.
“You are something else, you know that?” he muttered, sighing. “If I listen to your song, will you leave me alone?”
“Uh-huh!” Demyx nodded gleefully, expression mirthful once more.
“And you’ll play it on your sitar, not hum it.”
“Well duh. That’d be just silly if I didn’t.”
Luxord snorted, watching the way Demyx laughed. Yes, it was definitely a impeccant laugh. At least, that’s how Demyx made it sound.

Demyx can make any situation adorable and oozing cuteness. Like Sora. And I was stamped as both of them xD

Isn't Demyx wonderful though? Ahaha.

And he is very wonderful.

Oh noes.
xD
I like that icon, by the way. It's hard to find a decent pic of Sora's final form. Well, at least it is if you're really lazy like me and don't like searching very hard. Ha.

I know. But that's the generic one you can find easily by searching "Final Form Sora" in Google Images. xD Didn't make it though. -doesn't know how to use her Photoshop-

xD
Bah. Google.
Aha.
I hardly make icons either, seeing as the best thing I have is like, Paint. Pffft.
